High Road Bible Church began as a Sunday School in 1937. It became Romeoville Community Church in 1946 when it was chartered as a religious corporation. At that time, the church, at its present location, was in the heart of the Romeoville community. As the surrounding communities expanded, the church become part of Lockport, Illinois. In 1968, the name was changed to High Road Bible Church to identify its location, 380 High Road, and its emphasis on the Bible as God’s word to mankind.
In 2010, the church completed an extensive renovation of its facilities, including the placement of a new steeple, which the building had been without for many years. The renovation points to God’s past, present and future faithfulness in bringing together people who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ in every generation. We invite you to come and become part of God’s ongoing grace at High Road Bible Church.
